Signing first strategic agreements in Africa

Signing of the first agreements of strategic partnerships to explore and operate in Africa. In this year, BTS receives the "Company of the Year" award from the US-Spain Chamber of Commerce.

2003

BTS expandes its NOC

BTS expandes its NOC capabilities and establishes a second operation center in the Walqa Technological Park in Huesca, Spain. With a team over 30 profesional engineers working on next generation tecnology BTS solidifies its expansion growth in Europe.

2004

Launch first prepaid card of a PTT of first level in the USA market

On 20 July it starts the distribution of prepaid cards of private-label operators Tier1 of Latin America in Florida, New York and Eastern USA markets.

2005

BTS moves its communications hub in Miami

BTS moves its communications hub in Miami to NAP of the Americas. Their facilities at NAP of the Americas is a benchmark for the security of global communications in response to natural disasters.

2007

BTS first appears in the rankings

BTS first appears in the rankings of "South Florida's Top 500 Businesses".

2008

The adquisition of Latinode is completed

The adquisition of Latinode is completed with the objective of consolidation and growth in the Central American market.

2009

BTS moves its communications node in Madrid

BTS moves its communications node in Madrid to the Interxion Data Center, improving the Quality of Service for their softswitch platform.

2010

BTS opens their own building

BTS opens their own building in the Walqa Technologic Park where its Network Operation Center and RND department are located.

2011

BTS is included in the "Top 100

BTS is included in the "Top 100 Small Businesses in South Florida" which recognizes the top companies in South Florida that have less than 100 employees.

2012

BTS becomes a member of the i3 Forum which

BTS becomes a member of the i3 Forum which represents the telecom sector´s leading organization for the evolution of new services.

2013

BTS joins the GBET Association

BTS joins the GBET Association which represents the industry´s advancement in faciliting the electronic signature of contracts and documentations. BTS developes and introduces its own open source SoftSwitch platform at its Miami nodes
